Hundreds of years ago, did the Cornish clifftop thang, realized it
was a busy clifftop footpath too late, memorable...
Nowadays, in my dreams is often best- less effort.

Where do you enjoy most - Making Love???
by Celtic inwhere do you enjoy most - making love with one another, making that deep down, soul to soul shared connection?.
for me, if it were possible, it s/he would be out within nature, upon the woodland floor, with a few sleeping bags and cushions, amonst the leaf strewn woodland floor, at night with the moon overhead, owls calling, wow!!
the connection there i imagine would be pretty awesome, still never done it.. or on top of the cliffs, with the waves pounding below, sending ripples of vibration through the hillside above.. in stormy weather, on the beach, each place adding / sharing another shared perspective in our one soul love creating.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm if only.. peace, lots of it, kindness, joy and great friendships, music, wine and general jollity and boogeying it down.. love.

Banned music
by meat pie inwere you ever told that 'bridge over troubled waters' was not to be listened to.
because it was about drugs dealing?
even if it was did that mean we'd all rush out to buy drugs!also some time ago i went to a funeral at a nearby church, i was telling a 'sister' at the hall some time later that i joined in the singing because i couldn't see anything wrong with 23rd psalm nor 'amazing grace', and she said the latter was about mary worship.

What rubbish I was too stunned to even be bothered to put her right. Have you any bizarre stories about 'banned' music? I am currently listening to Michael Jackson, spose I'm DF'd now!

Cornish Spring time is here for sure, glorious day
by Celtic inlooks like spring has arrived in earnest.
the sun is shining warmly, the yellow daffodils striking in their resplendence against the backdrop of a very bright unclouded blue sky, the warmth of the sun refreshing my face, warming my soul.
the trees are coming out into leaf, springtime flowers are everywhere.. just off for my walk down to the helford river, anyone want to join me?.

What's in a name?
by dmouse insome interesting comments about the confusion caused by using multiple identities in the last day or two.. i was wondering, as there are some strange sounding tags about, what is the story, if any, behind your screen names?
and what are your favourite alternatives (i thought about being dungeonmaster).
i am 'dmouse' because it's a shortened version of my full name, dean moorhouse, and i used to love the (uk)cartoon dangermouse when i was a kid.

I would like to get an Arts Council grant to travel Britain, Europe and the whole world, all expenses paid, studying the meat pies of the world, their history ,development and taste and texture, portability, social influence etc. Then I could write a book on the subject, with more hands on research, yummy!

The Last Supper - very simple
by Atreyu injesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples.
take it and eat it, he said, this is my body.
then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Thanks Atreyu, that does help especially the point that the Passover was not just for a special 'class' of people. I will give this some more thought.

Warning to Presiding Overseers!
by ozziepost inthe february issue of kingdom ministry in britain issues a warning to presiding overseers that they must stop auditing congregation accounts.
it advises presiding overseers that they are contravening the charities act by doing the audit.
instead service committees are now to appoint someone to do the audit.. strange things seem to be happening in britain!

This happened at the cong I went to , money was stolen for quite some time and there was a big cover up. someone who shouldn't have come into contact with the contributions money was taking it, and of course most of us were thinking it must be a 'mistake' at the bank, because Jehovah's people are a clean people, and so it must be someone in the world.(!)A 'favoured son' was responsible and we never really were told what happened, just dribs and drabs of chatter. They should at least have told the cong. Result; privelidges withheld, and sharp words from the platform for the rest of us to shut up!I think this was the beginning of the end for me, I dont want to say too much more now, but I geuss it must be quite common.
